About Us

We are an organization that provides educational travel to women and girls who may not otherwise have the opportunity to travel.

 Girls Growing Through Travel was founded after years of mentoring girls and recognizing that many girls and women lack the financial means to leave their hometowns and experience the world. We were inspired to create opportunities that empower them to explore new places, broaden their horizons, and build confidence through travel. 

 Girls Growing Through Travel enriches our community by providing girls and women with opportunities to expand their worldviews, build confidence, and develop leadership skills through educational travel experiences. By removing financial barriers, we make it possible for participants to gain cultural awareness and valuable life skills they can bring back to their families, schools, and neighborhoods. Our programs foster a sense of empowerment and community pride, inspiring participants to dream bigger and give back to others in turn.
